RES Software Releases Basic Exam for RES PowerFuse 2010 as Part of Global Partner and Customer Certification Program

Amsterdam, the Netherlands and Philadelphia, PA – July 22, 2010 — RES Software, the global leader in user workspace management software, today announced the release of the RES PowerFuse 2010 Basic Exam (RPFBX-300). The exam will be available worldwide to RES Software channel partners and customers beginning on August 1, 2010 as part of the RES Software Certification Program. Successful completion of RPFBX-300 is a necessary step in acquiring RES Certified Professional and RES Certified Trainer status.

RPFBX-300 has been developed following the launch of RES PowerFuse 2010 in February of this year to further expand the support offered to partners and customers through the RES Software Certification Program for both RES PowerFuse and RES Wisdom product lines. The RES Software Certification Program provides official recognition of expertise in RES Software solutions, and is operated in conjunction with Prometric, a leader in certification programs. Certification additionally proves that users are able to take full advantage of all the features of RES Software solutions, provides a clear IT development path with concrete goals and entitles certified trainers to teach RES Software courses.

The Certification Program offers partners and customers the opportunity to participate in one of several technical training courses that deal with the installation and configuration of RES PowerFuse and RES Wisdom. These technical courses are offered by RES Authorized learning centers. Additionally, partners and customers are able to take the Basic Exams for RES PowerFuse, RES Wisdom, or both. After successful completion of both exams, RES Certified Professional (RCP) status is achieved, and for partners who also attend the RES Software Train the Trainer Training, RES Certified Trainer (RCT) status is achieved.

The RPFBX-300 exam can be scheduled online via the Prometric website, and taken at any Prometric test center worldwide. With the availability of this exam, the combined certifications (RES Certified Professional (RCP) and RES Certified trainer (RCT)) will need to be upgraded within 9 months.
